Hi 👋 I'm Tandy . I'm a London based Multi Award-winning Digital Project Lead with experience in client services, creative, project management and delivery working for some of the top agencies in the world for a wide variety of industries including FMCG, Financial, Retail, Telecommunications and Technology sectors.
With my all-round experience with previously 12 years experience working as a Designer through to a Creative Director, I understand and care about every stage of a project's development and I'm driven by results. I work with, and inspire teams to be, and deliver the very best, not just good enough. I look to work for innovative companies with people who are talented at what they do.
Personal Project
From a ‘Home Schooling’ Project to a ‘Boys’ Clothing & Lifestyle Brand!
I recently set up a ‘Boys’ Clothing & Life style called ‘Rocketsonic’ during lockdown as part of a ‘Home schooling project with my Twin Sons - Aged 11.
The idea came about during 'Lockdown' when we worked on a personal home-schooling project in the Summer 2020. My sons wanted to know what I (Dad) did for a living & While working from home there was no better way of teaching them the ins and outs of branding & marketing as they were super keen to learn! Firm in the belief that they might as well start young it started as a mini-project and the idea grew from there to what it is now and we have enjoyed working on the brand together ever since.
We were featured in our local newspaper, various Enterpreneurs publications, Asian UK, Desi Blitz and our story was even mentioned by Holly Tucker (Founder of NotOnTheHighsStreet) as we described our journey and quoted 'we are the teachers of entrepreneurialism and there is no such thing as a entrepreneurs class at school' which is what we are did!
We have been also been on various radio stations like BBC Asian Network - The Everyday Hustle with Sonya Barlow, Radio London on the 'Robert Elms' Show talking about the Brand and Journey so why not check out the interviews on our Instagram channel @rocketsonicwear!
My twins sons were recently nominated for the ‘Young Citizens Award for donating to their chosen charity ‘Unicef’ from the proceeds from the Clothing brand.
We also designed our local football team kit and Sponsor the team KIT OUT LONDON!
We hope this story will inspire young entrepreneurs for the future and we have now launched our ‘Kidpreneur Mentoring Academy’ to help young kidpreneurs to bring their ideas to life!!
